Junior Auditor
Function
For an audit firm in the Hasselt region, we are looking for a Junior Auditor. You will work on audit assignments for medium-sized companies and associations and learn the profession step by step in practice.
You will be guided by experienced colleagues, but at the same time you will have the opportunity to take on files yourself. As you grow in your role, you will be given more responsibility and independence.
What will you do?
As a Junior Auditor, you will support the preparation, execution and reporting of financial audits.
Your duties include:
- audit financial statements and financial data;
- Prepare audit files and collect documentation;
- analyse financial information and learn to recognise potential risks;
- Collaborate on reports, audit reports and management letters;
- Get to know customers by immersing yourself in their activities and figures;
- Apply auditing procedures and digital tools in your daily work;
- Participate in special assignments, such as contributions in kind, liquidations, mergers and demergers.
You do not yet have to be able to do everything independently. It is especially important that you work accurately, dare to ask questions and are eager to learn.
Profile
You have a bachelor's or master's degree in an economic field, e.g. Accountancy-Tax, Commercial Sciences, TEW or Commercial Engineering.
Besides, you recognise yourself in this:
- you work accurately and in a structured way;
- You can analyse and interpret financial data;
- you have an eye for detail without losing the overview;
- you take responsibility for your work;
- you enjoy working with colleagues;
- You want to delve further into audit and financial reporting.
A first internship or experience within audit, accountancy or finance is a plus, but not a requirement.
Organisation
The firm works for a variety of companies and associations and takes a personal approach. Both client relations and internal cooperation are viewed in the long term.
As a Junior Auditor here, you will have the opportunity to build a solid foundation within audit and grow in responsibility step by step.
Offer
You will join a growing office with a team where collaboration is important. There is room to learn, ask questions and develop your role at your own pace.
You can count on:
- A permanent contract at start-up;
- A market-based salary package;
- A company car with fuel or charge card;
- meal vouchers, eco cheques and an expense allowance;
- hospitalisation and group insurance;
- mobile phone and laptop;
- 12 ADV days;
- training that matches your job and ambitions;
- guidance from experienced colleagues;
- A healthy work-life balance.
