Our client, a recognised audit firm in the Hasselt region, is looking for a (medior or senior) auditor who likes to take initiative, take responsibility and help build quality client relationships.

Your role as Auditor

In this position, you will collaborate on a variety of audit assignments for medium-sized companies and associations. You will have the opportunity to work independently while working closely with experienced colleagues.

Some of your duties include:

• Perform statutory and special audits at various clients.
• Analysing financial statements and reviewing financial figures.
• Drafting opinion letters and discussing findings with the company auditor.
• Supervise junior colleagues and contribute to smooth team planning.
• Participate in special assignments such as mergers, demergers or in-kind contributions.
• Proactively contribute ideas on optimisation and quality improvement of the audit process.

Profile

You have had your first experience within audit and want to deepen that knowledge.

In addition, you possess:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in an economic field (Accountancy-Taxation, TEW, Commercial Sciences, ...).
• A critical eye and analytical mindset.
• An eye for detail, but also the ability to see the broader picture.
• A structured way of working and sense of responsibility.
• Team spirit and the will to contribute to a positive working atmosphere.
