Investment advisor
Function
As an Investment Adviser, you will guide private clients with their investments and help build long-term client relationships. To begin with, there is already an extensive client base waiting for you. So you won’t have to start from scratch.
Your duties will include:
- Guiding clients in their investment decisions and wealth accumulation.
- Preparing for and conducting client meetings.
- Proactively approaching existing customers who are not currently investing, or are investing too little.
- Invite clients to the office and assess their financial situation and needs.
- Monitoring and managing existing investment portfolios.
- Administrative processing and follow-up of the agreements made and transactions carried out.
- Proactively contributing ideas on opportunities within the existing client portfolio.
- In the long term, independently build and maintain sustainable customer relationships.
- Working from both the office in Tielt and Wingene, depending on requirements and clients.
The majority of your work will involve banking investments. Experience with life insurance or Branch 23 is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Profile
For this role, our client is looking for someone with some initial relevant experience in investments. You don’t need to be a seasoned private banker, but a basic level of experience and, above all, a keen interest in investing are important.
You recognise yourself in the following points:
- You have some initial relevant work experience in investments or wealth management.
- You have a keen interest in financial markets and investments.
- You’re analytical and enjoy working alongside the client.
- You work independently, but consider being part of a team to be just as important.
- You take the initiative and don’t just sit back and wait for customers to come to you of their own accord.
- You communicate fluently and build trust easily.
- You have a principled and customer-focused approach.
- You take a long-term view and put the customer’s interests first.
- A PCP certificate is required.
- You speak excellent Dutch. Knowledge of French or English would be a great bonus.
