Investment Advisor

Function

As an Investment Adviser, you’ll guide clients through important financial decisions. You’ll listen to their plans, assess their situation and translate this into an investment strategy that suits them. In doing so, you’ll not only help them achieve returns, but, above all, build long-term trust.

You will also have the opportunity to broaden your role with a second area of focus: insurance.

Tasks

• Guiding clients with their investment queries and wealth management objectives
• Proposing investment solutions that match the client’s profile and expectations
• Actively follow up with existing clients and regularly review their portfolios
• Keeping up to date with market developments and financial news
• Identifying opportunities during conversations and proactively advising customers
• Building new customer relationships and strengthening existing ones
• Translating financial information clearly into advice that is easy to understand
• Working with colleagues within the office

Profile

We’re not looking for a salesperson in the traditional sense, but someone who thrives on customer contact and the world of finance. Do you have strong views on investments and are you confident enough to back them up? Then this is the place for you.

You recognise yourself (largely) in the following:

• You must have at least a bachelor’s degree
• You have a keen interest in investments, financial markets and economics
• Experience in investment or the financial sector is a major asset
• Having a PCP qualification is a bonus; undertaking PCP training is certainly something to discuss
• You have a commercial mindset without losing sight of the importance of sound advice
• You find it easy to build trust and enjoy maintaining customer relationships
• You take the initiative and don’t just sit back and wait for opportunities to come your way
• You can cope well under pressure and know how to set priorities
• You’re driven and find satisfaction in achieving results
• You’re sociable and enjoy working with colleagues
• You speak Dutch fluently and have a strong knowledge of French
• English is a bonus, but not essential
