Investment Advisor
Function
Some customers don’t just ring “the office” here for no reason.
They ring their trusted adviser.
Because they know your story. Because they know who’s answering the phone. And because personal advice here is still genuinely personal.
We are looking for an Investment Adviser for a stable, locally-based branch. An experienced colleague will be gradually moving towards retirement over the coming years. That is why we are planning ahead now.
So it’s not a sudden replacement, but a carefully considered recruitment process that gives you time to get to know clients, cases and colleagues at your own pace.
You will advise private clients on their queries regarding saving, investing and wealth accumulation. The range of investment products is straightforward, so the focus is primarily on listening carefully, building trust and providing clear advice.
Your diary consists of a mix of scheduled advisory meetings, follow-ups with existing clients and meetings with warm leads that come in via the system.
Don’t expect a high-pressure sales culture or endless cold calling. Here, customers deliberately choose personalised advice and a dedicated point of contact.
Are you already working in the banking sector but find you don’t have enough time for meaningful customer interactions?
Or do you feel that commercial figures are becoming increasingly more important than personal advice?
In that case, this role could be an interesting step.
Profile
This role is open to both junior and experienced candidates.
Perhaps you already have experience working in a bank branch or in the investment sector, and are looking for a stable environment where customer relationships are key.
Perhaps you’re a school leaver or a recent graduate with a flair for business and an interest in the financial sector.
Both profiles are welcome.
More important than the number of years’ experience you have are your personality, maturity and attitude.
You recognise yourself in the following:
- You enjoy working with people.
- You know how to build trust.
- You hold at least a bachelor's degree.
- You think commercially, without being pushy.
- You will assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- You enjoy learning new things.
- You’re looking for a long-term employer.
Organisation
You’ll be joining a modern and professional office that has been a mainstay in the region for many years.
The team works well together and staff turnover is exceptionally low. Colleagues don’t stay here because they have to, but because they feel at home in the office.
Open communication is not just an empty promise here. The manager’s door is open, both literally and figuratively. Questions, ideas or concerns are welcomed and discussed.
This creates an environment where colleagues know, support and respect one another.
Offer
You’ll be joining an office where there’s plenty of room for open discussion and where they really look beyond the CV to see the person behind it.
Personal contact with customers is key. They are looking for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships and supporting customers in a warm and professional manner.
You can count on:
- A permanent contract at start-up.
- A full-time role; a 4/5ths position is negotiable.
- Support and training tailored to your level of experience.
- Extra support when you join as a junior.
- An attractive remuneration package.
- Meal vouchers of €8.
- Wage bonus.
- Hospitalisation insurance.
- Option to exchange the 13th month’s salary for a car.
- No weekend work.
- A modern office equipped with all the necessary facilities.
- A stable, people-centred working environment where people are happy to continue working.
