Internal Auditor

Function

You will join an international and stable retail organisation with a strong focus on efficiency, quality and continuous improvement. The company has a no-nonsense and results-oriented culture, in which cooperation and responsibility are important. As an internal auditor, you will be part of a professional team responsible for monitoring and optimising internal processes. You will work within a dynamic environment with various regional offices, where you will contribute to transparency, risk management and the further professionalisation of the organisation.

Your range of tasks:

• You will analyse processes, risks and controls and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of operation.
• You check the reliability of financial and operational reports.
• You oversee compliance with internal guidelines and relevant laws and regulations.
• You report your findings clearly and formulate concrete recommendations to improve processes.
• You actively monitor the implementation of improvement actions.
• You will participate in the development and elaboration of international audit programmes.

Profile

You recognise yourself (largely) in the following:

• You ideally have a bachelor's degree or are equivalent through experience.
• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience within audit, control or process optimisation.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch, French and English.
• You are analytically strong and work accurately, solution- and result-oriented.
• You have communication skills, both oral and written.
• You enjoy working together as part of a team but can also take responsibility independently.
