Interior joinery work planner
Function
As a Work Planner, you act as a key link between the client, the workshop and the project management team. You are responsible for the technical preparation and monitoring of high-quality, bespoke interior design projects. In this role, variety and responsibility are guaranteed.
- You take measurements of bespoke furniture and interior fittings at the customer’s premises.
- You will convert measurements and plans into detailed working drawings using AutoCAD and VleCAD.
- You will produce detailed drawings, working drawings and assembly diagrams in accordance with current standards.
- You will coordinate the technical aspects with the workshop.
- You draw up bills of materials, place orders and track deliveries.
- You carry out cost calculations based on plans provided by architects and clients.
- You’ll play an active role in devising technical optimisations for complex projects.
- You will liaise with customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
Profile
We are looking for an enterprising Work Planner who works independently and meticulously. You have a passion for technical drawings and bespoke projects, and you bring a well-thought-out approach to the role.
- You have a degree in woodworking or equivalent experience in interior construction.
- You have a strong technical background and experience with bespoke solutions.
- You have at least 3–5 years’ work experience in a relevant role.
- You have knowledge of AutoCAD, VleCAD or similar drawing programmes.
- You communicate fluently with colleagues, customers and external partners.
- You’re practical, enterprising and a real team player.
