For an independent insurance broker in Hasselt, we are looking for an administrative insurance clerk. You will join a stable and experienced team that supports companies with reliable and personalised insurance solutions.
In this position, the emphasis is clearly on administrative processing, file follow-up and support. The commercial part is mainly taken up by the case managers. You ensure that everything behind the scenes runs correctly, completely and smoothly.
What will you do?
Your duties will mainly consist of administrative and file support, such as:
- Processing, completing and following up customer files;
- Administrative preparation and drafting of offers;
- collecting and checking the necessary information and documents;
- Follow up on pending insurance files;
- Assist customers by phone or e-mail with administrative queries;
- Provide support to case managers and commercial colleagues;
- Ensure structured, correct and orderly administration.
After your induction period, you will have the opportunity to delve further into more complex corporate files, without being responsible for their commercial development yourself.
Profile
We are looking for someone who likes to work accurately, brings structure and gets satisfaction from files that are completely in order administratively.
You recognise yourself in the following:
- You have at least a bachelor's degree or relevant experience within the insurance sector;
- You work in a structured way, accurately and with an eye for detail;
- You enjoy administrative processing and file follow-up;
- you are eager to learn and committed;
- you can work independently, but also function well within a small team;
- you communicate clearly and professionally;
- you find it important that information is processed correctly and completely.
Experience in insurance is a plus, but you will also qualify with the right motivation, accuracy and eagerness to learn.
Organisation
You will join an independent insurance broker with a strong focus on businesses. Their clients range from small independents to larger and more complex files, including within the construction sector.
You will work in a modern, new office in Hasselt, just outside the city centre. The location is easily accessible and there is ample parking in front of the door. The working environment is bright, pleasant and equipped with contemporary facilities.
