Insurance broker

Function

We are looking for an insurance broker for a branch in the region, working for a family-run insurance firm that is part of a regional partnership. Together with colleagues from nearby branches, you will provide clear and expert advice to private and business clients.

In this varied commercial role, you’ll be given a great deal of independence, responsibility and opportunities to develop your skills further. You’ll be dealing with customers in person, over the phone and online.

• Analysing customers’ needs and risks
• Advising on suitable insurance solutions
• Explaining policies and terms and conditions clearly
• Monitoring client files in terms of both administration and content
• Processing applications, changes, quotations and policy documents
• Identifying and capitalising on commercial opportunities
• Contributing to sustainable customer relationships and further growth

Profile

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused entry-level candidate or experienced professional with an interest in business and an affinity for insurance. Experience is an advantage, but not a requirement: enthusiastic school leavers with the relevant qualifications and the ambition to develop their careers are also welcome to apply.

• Holds the PCP certificate in insurance
• Communicating in Dutch in a professional and fluent manner
• Combining a commercial mindset with an eye for bespoke advice
• Listening attentively, asking targeted questions and explaining information clearly
• Working accurately, reliably and in an organised manner
• Taking a proactive approach to case management and client relations
• Get to grips with new systems and software quickly

Experience in the insurance sector or financial services would be an advantage. You will be working in a close-knit environment where colleagues support one another and organise activities together.
