Insurance advisor
Function
As an insurance adviser, you’ll mainly be working within BOAR and will gradually build up your knowledge.
You:
- advises customers on their insurance needs;
- prepares quotations and follows them up;
- processes and manages insurance policies;
- maintains existing customer relationships;
- answers customers’ questions and looks for suitable solutions;
- welcomes customers who drop in at the office;
- builds a relationship of trust with your portfolio;
- works closely with colleagues, each of whom has their own area of specialism;
- is gradually taking on a broader role within the insurance sector.
New recruits start by learning the basics of BOAR. As you gain more experience, your range of responsibilities will expand. Ultimately, the aim is for colleagues to support one another professionally and for everyone to build up a broad knowledge of insurance.
Profile
You don’t need ten years’ experience to be eligible for this role. High-achieving school leavers with the right attitude are also welcome.

- fits in well with a warm, family-like working environment.
Organisation
The office has a clear ambition: to become the leading partner for insurance and financial services in the Westhoek region. This ambition is being further developed from our base in Diksmuide, in collaboration with the offices in Houthulst, Veurne and Poperinge.
The mix of private and business clients ensures a great deal of variety. In addition, there is a strong connection with the agricultural sector, although the client base is not limited to this sector.
