Insurance advisor
Function
As an Insurance Adviser, you will be responsible for both the sales and the aftercare of non-life insurance policies. You will manage your own client portfolio and ensure that clients can always count on accurate and personalised service.
Your duties will include:
- Advising clients on non-life insurance for private individuals and small businesses.
- Drawing up new insurance files and further developing existing policies.
- Monitoring claims files, both administratively and in terms of content, from the time a claim is reported until it is settled.
- Assist customers with their enquiries and advise them on the most suitable insurance solutions.
- Processing incoming enquiries and scheduling appointments.
- Working with colleagues to offer customers a comprehensive solution.
- Contributing ideas on ways to further improve our services.
The focus is on providing high-quality advice to clients. There is currently a strong influx of new clients, which means that prospecting plays only a limited role.
Profile
For this role, we are looking for someone who thrives on customer contact and is keen to take responsibility for their cases.
Ideally, you should have:
- Some initial experience in non-life insurance or a similar role.
- Knowledge of BOAR insurance.
- A customer-focused and solution-oriented approach.
- Good communication skills.
- A sense of initiative and a sense of responsibility.
- A team-oriented attitude and the motivation to achieve results together.
- A healthy dose of commercial acumen without being a typical salesperson.
- A flexible attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile for the customer.
If some of the points above do not fully reflect your experience, but this role still appeals to you, please feel free to contact us at finance.west@ctrl-f.be or on +32 50 444 713. We’d be happy to explore the possibilities with you.
Organisation
You will be joining an independent branch where a family-like culture is central. Both staff and customers know each other personally, which means that lasting relationships and trust form the basis of our working relationship.
Thanks to the strong growth in our client portfolio, you will be given a varied range of responsibilities and the opportunity to develop your skills within the profession. In addition, the firm invests in innovation and digitalisation, including by integrating new AI applications to make administrative processes more efficient.
You’ll be working from a modern and spacious office where collaboration, a team spirit and a customer-focused approach are central to our daily work.
