Insurance account manager

Function

As Insurance account manager You will play a key role in strengthening and expanding our offices in Bonheiden. You will be the point of contact for both private individuals and SME clients, and will focus on actively expanding our client base. Drawing on your commercial acumen, customer-focused approach and knowledge of insurance, you will offer tailored advice and guide clients in finding the best solution for their insurance needs.

Your responsibilities:

• Active prospecting and customer acquisition: You will build up your own client portfolio through targeted prospecting of local businesses and private individuals. You will develop relationships and know how to turn opportunities into concrete appointments.
• Professional insurance advice: You analyse clients’ risks and offer insurance solutions that are closely tailored to their needs. You draw up quotations, negotiate with insurers and follow up on cases in detail.
• Relationship management: You build long-term relationships and maintain annual contact with customers to assess their changing insurance needs. You think proactively and capitalise on cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
• Administrative follow-up: You will ensure that applications are processed accurately and efficiently, and work with colleagues to guarantee a smooth workflow.

Profile

To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• You have a commercial mindset and are a strong communicator.
• You have a passion for insurance and, ideally, some experience in the sector.
• A PCP certificate is an advantage, or you are willing to obtain it.
• You are customer-focused, able to work independently and work well as part of a team.
• You draw energy from achieving goals and building up your client portfolio independently.
