HVAC project leader
Function
As an HVAC Project Manager, he or she is responsible for the full operational management of air-conditioning and HVAC projects for private and business clients. He or she acts as the central point of contact throughout the entire implementation process and monitors the schedule, quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
In addition, he or she manages several installation teams on site and acts as the technical point of contact for air-conditioning and HVAC systems. To this end, he or she combines strong technical expertise with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.
Handover and preparation
- Discussing closed deals with the sales department.
- Check that all agreements have been clearly recorded.
- Carrying out site visits and collecting technical data.
- Preparing site files containing plans, diagrams, details and bills of materials.
- Coordinate the project schedule with the planner.
Operational management
- Daily briefings for foremen and fitters.
- Monitoring construction sites and keeping track of the schedule.
- To ensure that the works are carried out to a high standard, safely and efficiently.
- To provide technical support to the installation teams.
Customer and Supplier Management
- Maintaining clear communication with clients throughout the project.
- Ordering project-specific materials.
- Ensuring deliveries are made on time.
- Work closely with the administration and invoicing teams.
Completion
- Carrying out the handover together with the client.
- Ensuring that every project is completed correctly and to a high standard.
- Finalising and handing over the as-built documentation following completion of the works.
Profile
- Possesses a strong technical knowledge of air-conditioning and HVAC systems.
- Has experience as a project manager, site manager or senior HVAC technician.
- Can provide operational guidance and technical support to technicians.
- Works in a structured manner and maintains an overview of multiple projects.
- Is decisive, solution-oriented and able to cope well under pressure.
- Communicates effectively with customers, colleagues and external partners.
- It places a strong emphasis on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
- Holds a Category B driving licence.
