As a High-Voltage Power Lines Project Engineer, you’ll play a central role throughout the entire project process – from preparation to handover. You’ll combine technical expertise with organisational insight. Your focus will include:

  • Preparing quotations: You will draw up project proposals and quotations in collaboration with the project manager and international colleagues.
  • Drawing up plans and working methods: You translate technical designs into clear working methods to ensure an effective approach.
  • Monitoring project planning: You’ll keep a close eye on progress and step in where necessary; missing deadlines is not an option!
  • Coordination of partners: You liaise with subcontractors and ensure efficient collaboration on site.
  • Cost management: You monitor the budget and help ensure the project is carried out cost-effectively.
  • Quality assurance: You ensure compliance with quality systems and high standards.

Profile

For this vacancy for a High-Voltage Power Line Project Engineer, we are looking for candidates with:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electromechanics, electrical engineering or equivalent through experience
  • Strong interest in infrastructure and energy projects
  • A hands-on approach, a meticulous work ethic and organisational skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Belgium
  • Good knowledge of Dutch; knowledge of French is an advantage
  • A solution-oriented and proactive individual with a strong sense of responsibility
