Building Services Draughtsman
Function
- As a Building Services Draughtsman, you develop technical installations for a wide range of construction projects, with electricity as the primary discipline and possible involvement in HVAC, heating, ventilation, sanitary and fire safety.
- From architectural plans, you translate technical information into clear and executable 2D drawings, diagrams, visualisations and a complete study file.
- On-site, you gather the necessary technical data and carefully convert building surveys into digital plans.
- Bills of quantities, parts lists and other technical documents are prepared by you, so that project managers and executing partners can get started with accurate information.
- You work closely with the project manager, align decisions in a timely manner and ensure coherence between design, calculations and draughting work.
- Your accuracy minimises errors during the execution phase and directly contributes to the quality, feasibility and progress of the projects.
- You provide support with designs and calculations and are given the opportunity to gradually take on greater responsibility as an independent designer or project manager.
- You work in a professional environment where consultation, initiative and professional development are part of day-to-day collaboration.
Profile
- A bachelor's or master's degree in electromechanics, electrical engineering, air conditioning, or equivalent experience provides a solid foundation for this role.
- You bring several years of relevant experience as a technical draughtsman, designer or in a comparable role within building services.
- Experience with AutoCAD and 2D draughting is important; knowledge of technical installations and the ability to interpret construction and architectural plans will help you deliver quality work quickly.
- Experience with drawing HVAC and electrical installations.
- Accuracy, a sense of responsibility and a structured approach to work are essential, as your drawings and bills of quantities have a direct impact on the execution of construction projects.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch, can express yourself at a basic level in French, work constructively with others and remain eager to learn when projects or technical challenges change.
- A category B driving licence is required for travel as part of the role.
