Financial Controller

Function

As a Financial Controller, you play a crucial role in financial management and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for monitoring financial integrity, accurately reporting financial data and providing strategic insight to ensure the organisation achieves its goals. As Financial Controller, you will have the following range of duties:

• You will be responsible for monthly management reports;
• You take care of the annual budget process;
• You develop the performance reports;
• You will provide analysis on monthly and annual closures;
• You proactively hold meetings with the business manager and make adjustments where necessary;
• You plan for the development of the company's financial health.

Profile

The ideal candidate for the Financial Controller position will have a completed degree in Finance, Accounting or a similar field, and possess analytical thinking skills and accuracy. In addition, the following qualifications and skills are required:

• At least first relevant work experience as a controller, auditor or similar position;
• Good knowledge of Power BI and MS Excel;
• Strong analytical ability and excellent problem-solving skills;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Stress-resistant and able to work effectively under strict deadlines;
• You dare to go against the beaten path and think out-of-the-box;
• You speak very good Dutch, as this is the working language within the company.
