Field Service Engineer

Function

• You will install, maintain and repair high-tech industrial machinery at customers’ sites across Belgium.
• You’ll travel directly from home to the customer’s premises every day and return home after completing your assignments. There’s no need to travel to head office.
• You will identify technical faults and resolve them in an efficient and customer-focused manner.
• You carry out preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability of the machinery.
• You explain to customers how the systems work and how to use them correctly.
• You will build professional relationships with clients, ranging from large manufacturing companies to family-run SMEs.
• Thanks to a comprehensive training programme, you will develop into a specialist in a niche market.

Profile

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics or are a motivated school leaver. Experience is an advantage.
• You have a good basic understanding of mechanics, electricity, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• You are keen to learn and have a keen interest in high-tech machinery.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and have a good knowledge of English. You can also get by in French.
• You are customer-focused, take responsibility and work independently.
• You are flexible and enjoy working at different locations.
• You live in Flanders.
