Air Freight Forwarder (Export)

Function

For our vacancy as Export clerk air freight in Machelen, you will perform the following duties;

• Organising and coordinating from A to Z of global transports.
• Close tracking of shipments.
• Maintain customer contact by phone and e-mail.
• Build and maintain commercial contacts.
• Liaise with airlines, other suppliers and road transporters.
• Retrieve, check, book & invoice charges in the operational software application.
• Correctly handle complaints and queries from our customers.

Profile

For this export clerk vacancy in Machelen, it is best to meet the following expectations:

• Relevant work experience as an air freight forwarder or with a logistics service provider (minimum 2 years' experience).
• Flexible attitude, stress-resistant, independent and enthusiastic.
• Hands on mentality.
• Excellent contact skills both by phone and in person.
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English both orally and in writing.
