Air Freight Forwarder (Export)

Function

• Preparing, processing and monitoring export documentation for air freight (general cargo)
• Booking shipments and liaising with airlines, partners and agents.
• Checking transport and customs documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Communicating with customers about status, planning and any deviations.
• Providing support in resolving operational issues and urgent matters.
• Monitoring deadlines, delivery arrangements and quality standards.
• Ensuring that data is processed correctly in the systems.

Profile

• Ideally, you will have some initial experience in logistics
• You have a bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in logistics, transport or administration.
• You are organised and meticulous, and are able to set priorities in a busy environment.
• You communicate fluently and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• You are customer-focused and help to come up with solutions.
• You are able to cope well with stress and remain flexible when cases or schedules change.
• You have a good command of Dutch and English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
• You’re comfortable working with digital tools and pick up new systems quickly.
