Engineer Installation Techniques (Water & Swimming Pools)
Function
As an Engineer Installation Techniques, you will be responsible for designing, calculating and drawing out installations for public swimming pools and water techniques. You will work with advanced drawing packages such as Revit (3D) and Autocad, working together with 3 to 4 fellow draftsmen to work out the techniques for water treatment, pipes, pumps and connections between pools.
You translate specifications and partner plans into optimal technical solutions and coordinate your designs with project leaders, fitters, suppliers and other involved parties.
- Documentation & analysis: studying specifications, calculations, standards and legislation.
- Engineering: preparation of principle and operating diagrams, spar and collapse drawings, piping overviews (2D) and detail drawings in Revit/Autocad.
- Calculations: sizing of swimming pool installations, heat losses, buffers, pumps, filters, heat exchangers and boilers.
- Technical documentation: writing specifications, manuals and technical sheets; programming in Excel and Revit.
- Control: performing quality checks using checklists.
- Coordination & communication: coordinating with customers, suppliers and internal teams; participating in site meetings and project meetings.
- Administration: completing timesheets, maintaining schedules and checklists.
- Safety & environment: integrating safety regulations (Occupational Health & Safety Act, HSE) and ensuring order and cleanliness.
Profile
Master's degree in a technical field (or equivalent through experience).
Experience or strong interest in installation techniques, preferably pool or water technology.
Skilled with a task packer. Working here in Revit and Autocad.
Analytical, accurate and strong in communication.
Ambition to advance to team lead is a plus.
Organisation
This company specialises in techniques for public swimming pools. The focus is entirely on water techniques: from water treatment and filtration to pumps, pipes and the connections between different pools. It works intensively with contractors and partners working in large Revit files. The team of engineers and draftsmen work out the installations in detail and optimise them technically and practically.
