Function

As an Electrical Team Leader, you will manage a team of technicians on a daily basis and ensure that electrical installations are carried out correctly, safely and efficiently. You will combine technical expertise with leadership skills and act as the point of contact on site for your colleagues and management.

As an Electrical Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

• Reading, interpreting and explaining electrical plans and diagrams to your team
• Managing and supervising a team of technicians on site
• Carrying out and coordinating general electrical installations from start-up to handover
• Ensuring the quality, safety and scheduling of the work
• Resolving technical issues in consultation with management
• Reporting any issues or technical difficulties
• Checking that materials and installation methods are being used correctly
• Ensuring a high-quality finish, ready for inspection and handover
• Actively helping out on site where necessary

Profile

For the role of Electrical Team Leader, we are looking for an experienced electrician with a natural leadership style. You know how to motivate colleagues, think in a solution-oriented way and keep a clear overview, even on technically challenging projects.

For this role as Electrical Shift Supervisor, you should ideally have:

• A technical qualification in electrical engineering or equivalent through experience
• Several years’ relevant experience as an electrician or senior technician
• Experience in managing a team is a major asset
• A thorough knowledge of electrical installations, materials and techniques
• The ability to read and interpret electrical plans and diagrams with ease
• An independent, meticulous and responsible approach to work
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• BA4, BA5 and/or VCA certificates are an advantage
• Driving Licence B
• An excellent command of Dutch is essential
