Electrical draftsman

Function

As an Electrical Draughtsman, you play a key role in the design and preparation of electrical installations and signs. You will work closely with sales engineers, fellow engineers and mechanics. Work includes:

• Analysing customer queries and working out solutions.
• Designing and drawing electrical installations in E-Plan and AutoCAD.
• Preparation of technical quotations and price setting.
• Negotiate prices and place orders with suppliers.
• Preparation and construction of switchgear cabinets.
• Preparation of technical files.
• Supervising installers on site.

Profile

To be considered for this position, we expect you to have the following qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in electricity or electromechanics, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, E-Plan and the Office package.
• Technical knowledge of electrical equipment and properties.
• Fluent Dutch with basic knowledge of French and English.
• Strong organisational skills, stress-resistance and technical understanding.
• Commercial and communication skills, including negotiating with suppliers.
