Dispatcher

Function

For the vacancy of Dispatcher at our client in Kieldrecht, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You are responsible for the daily staff planning of drivers, dock workers and foremen together with your 2 colleagues for the following day
• You will work closely with the Operations Manager
• In case of changes to the assignment, you quickly switch with the available workforce
• You do the necessary follow-up of the work force, pointing out safety procedures and processing the administration of checks and sanctions
• Set an example in professional communication and management, focusing on safety, quality and proactivity
• Perform administrative tasks, such as correct payroll, absence recording and other personnel administration
• You will work Monday to Friday starting between 8am and 9am
• 2 to 3 (in leave periods) weekends per month you will work on Saturday from 9am to 1pm and on Sunday you will be responsible for telephone permanence

Profile

For the vacancy of Dispatcher at our client, you recognise yourself in the following competences:

• You have initial positive experience in workforce planning or have a background in the logistics sector
• You are hands-on and flexible to work 2 weekends a month
• You are stress-resistant and can puzzle well with available resources
• You can express yourself professionally in Dutch
