Dispatcher fixed early

Function

For the vacancy of Dispatcher fixed early you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the follow-up of around 60 drivers (mainly French-speaking)
• You contact the drivers to check whether they have left well, are on schedule, ... and notify customers in case of delays
• Drivers make about 20 stops a day on average
• You take care of the necessary transport administration and enter everything into the system
• Before you leave, you brief everything to the people on the afternoon shift
• You will work Monday to Friday from 6am to 2pm in the fixed morning hours
• Max 3 weeks a year you will work the fixed afternoon (12h to 20h) to cover their holidays

• You like to get up early because you have to start at 6am which leaves your whole afternoon to yourself
• You can express yourself professionally in both Dutch and French (more than basic as many of your drivers only speak French)
• You cope well with stress and can switch quickly when drivers' schedules change
• You have good communication skills and can keep an overview
• You are a real team player who contributes to a good atmosphere on the shop floor
• You will preferably have initial successful experience in a planning role or have completed a logistics course
