Customer Service Employee

Function

As a Customer Service Employee in Bornem, you are the first point of contact for our larger customers. You build a strong commercial relationship with them and respond to their specific needs. Your tasks include:

• Accepting and processing orders, passing them on to operations and proactively following up.
• Preparing performance reports and looking for the best feasible solution for client and company.
• Establish ad hoc rates and actively contribute to up- and cross-selling. Pass on leads to sales colleagues.
• Regularly gauge customer satisfaction and handle complaints efficiently.
• Prepare and sometimes participate in meetings with clients.

You will be a key player in our organisation, joining a team that values customer focus and quality service.

Profile

For the Customer Service Officer position, we are looking for someone who is proactive and customer-oriented. You ideally meet the following requirements:

• You are communicatively strong in both Dutch and English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• You excel in a busy work environment and can prioritise and meet deadlines well.
• You have strong administrative skills, initiative and perseverance.
• You function well in a team but can also work independently.
• You show maturity and professionalism in dealing with Key Accounts.
• Experience with carriers and logistics is a plus, but not a requirement.
