Function

As a Transport Customer Service Representative in Bornem, you will play a crucial role within the customer service team. Your mission is to ensure that customers receive the best possible service and that logistics operations run smoothly. You will be responsible for processing orders, tracking shipments and delivering excellent customer service. You will also ensure compliance with quality processes and act as the first point of contact for customers. Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining commercial client relationships.
  • Proactive processing and follow-up of customer orders.
  • The search for efficient solutions to logistical challenges.
  • Create ad hoc rates and ensure upselling and cross-selling wherever possible.
  • Preparing for and attending client meetings.

You will work closely with operational departments and colleagues to continuously improve our services and ensure customer satisfaction.

Profile

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a combination of skills, qualities and experience. Key requirements include:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a customer service or logistics role.
  • Learn new systems quickly and easily, including MS Office.
  • Resilience and the ability to set priorities without compromising on quality.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach.
  • Good communication skills in Dutch, French and English.
  • A team player with the flexibility to work independently as well.

You will also be expected to have strong administrative skills and an eye for detail.
