Credit and insurance adviser

Function

You’ll start with a strong focus on loans, but will gradually expand your role to include insurance.

Your duties will include:

• You will advise private customers on their insurance needs, primarily within BOAR.
• You assess customers’ situations and needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• You will contact customers yourself to arrange appointments.
• You start by calling high-priority customers and then work through the available customer lists independently.
• You actively follow up on appointments and provide personalised customer support.
• You will gradually build up your knowledge of loans and, in due course, will also take on some of these cases.
• You will help to further expand the client portfolio.
• You will share responsibility for the firm’s objectives.
• You’ll be working at the counter. Initially, you’ll be working full-time, after which you’ll gradually join the rota system alongside your other colleagues.

So you won’t be working in a purely administrative role. Advising clients and carrying out commercial activities will form an important part of your day-to-day work.

Profile

You don’t need to have years of experience for this role. School leavers with the right attitude are also welcome to apply.

A master’s degree or a course in banking and insurance is a significant asset. If you have completed this course, you will not need to retake certain FSMA training modules.

Organisation

You will be joining a young firm that has experienced significant growth over the past year. The organisation has deliberately chosen a new direction and has firmly re-established itself in the market.

Today, the team comprises various specialists in the fields of wealth management, lending and insurance. At the same time, conscious efforts are being made to further broaden the range of services on offer. In the coming years, the firm also intends to focus more strongly on professional clients.

You’ll be given a great deal of freedom and responsibility here. New staff are actively supported: there are weekly office meetings to discuss targets, and at regular intervals we’ll have one-to-one discussions to review your progress and discuss the direction you’d like to take.

The atmosphere is youthful, dynamic and collegial. Throughout the year, there are various activities, such as team lunches, bowling and trips to events. New colleagues are also given a warm welcome – quite literally – with a breakfast.
