File manager

Function

As a file manager, you will be responsible for following up accounting files and assisting clients with financial and tax matters.

Your range of tasks:

• Management of accounting records from A to Y or A to Z, depending on your experience
• Entry and control of:
  • purchase invoices
  • sales invoices
  • financial operations
• Drafting and submission of:
  • VAT returns
  • personal income tax
  • corporate tax
• Preparation of annual accounts and year-end closing procedures
• Advising clients on accounting and tax questions
• Contributing ideas on how to optimise files and processes
• Collaborate with colleagues to follow up files efficiently

The firm is strongly committed to digitalisation, which means that administrative tasks are automated as much as possible.

Profile

For this position, we are looking for a file manager with an interest in accountancy and a strong sense of responsibility.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accountancy, taxation or a similar field
• Relevant experience within an accounting firm is a plus
• You work accurately and in a structured way
• You take initiative and think along with customers
• You communicate fluently and enjoy working as part of a team
• Interest in digital tools and modern accounting software

Organisation

You will be joining a small, professional accountancy firm with a team of around ten staff members. The firm was founded in the late 1990s and has built up a strong reputation amongst local business owners over the years.

The organisation uses a modern digital accounting process and employs tools such as Silverfin, Billit and Clearfacts to manage files efficiently and digitally. Specialised software is used for personal income tax.

There is an open and collegial atmosphere within the office, where staff support one another and share knowledge. Thanks to the stable structure and low staff turnover, staff can count on continuity and a pleasant working environment.
