Function

As Calculator you’ll be working on challenging construction projects in and around Limburg. You will play a key role in the preparatory phase of projects in both traditional and industrial construction, with the opportunity to explore in greater depth the approach that suits you best.

In this role, you will contribute to cost calculations, analyse specifications and plans, and work closely with colleagues in work planning, project management and site operations. You won’t need to draw: your focus will be on accurately estimating, structuring and helping to substantiate project files, so that projects can be developed efficiently and realistically.

Your responsibilities:

• Requesting, analysing and comparing quotations and prices from materials suppliers, subcontractors and other suppliers
• Preparing accurate estimates and cost calculations for various construction projects
• Contributing ideas on technical and commercial optimisations during the preparatory phase
• Providing support during the handover from cost estimation to implementation and work planning
• Working on projects in traditional construction, industrial construction or a combination of both
• Monitoring market prices, implementation methods and project-specific considerations
• Working with internal teams to ensure files are completed in full and on time

You will have the opportunity to grow alongside an organisation where short lines of communication, direct dialogue and a practical approach are key. Depending on your experience, you may be involved in a wider range of tasks relating to work planning and project support, with the necessary guidance and scope to develop your skills.

Profile

For this role, we are primarily looking for someone with insight, a willingness to learn and a sense of responsibility. A qualification is a bonus, but by no means an absolute requirement: we are also open to considering entry-level candidates with the right drive and a willingness to learn.

• Willingness to contribute ideas on efficiency and optimisation
• Experience with ERP or quotation systems is an advantage, but not essential

Our client is open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, provided you are motivated and enjoy working in a construction environment. Candidates with a more commercial or administrative background may also be of interest, provided they are strong at organising, following up and working with precision.

You will receive an attractive remuneration package tailored to your experience and potential. For this role, the gross monthly salary is typically between €2,800 and €4,500, complemented by attractive non-statutory benefits and the opportunity to help shape projects that make a difference.
