Function
- You will be responsible for preparing technical calculations and cost estimates from start to finish.
- You analyse building plans, bills of quantities, technical specifications and project data in order to produce accurate cost estimates.
- You will prepare total cost calculations and ensure that project budgets are accurately estimated.
- You compare quotes from suppliers and subcontractors and assess them for technical and financial feasibility.
- You will carry out preliminary and final cost calculations and analyse the differences between the budget and actual costs.
- You identify risks, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement within projects and cost estimates.
- You will prepare tender documents and support management by providing relevant information to aid strategic decision-making.
- You draw up budgets and schedules during the initial phase of projects.
- You will organise the technical handover of sold projects to the engineering and project management teams.
- You will act as the point of contact for technical and operational enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- You’ll stay up to date with new techniques, materials and developments within the sector.
Profile
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field.
- You have experience with cost estimation, cost calculations or project preparation in a technical environment.
- You are skilled at interpreting technical drawings, tender documents and specifications.
- You have an analytical mindset and work with precision.
- You will take responsibility for your cases and follow them up independently.
- You are able to set priorities and maintain an overview in a dynamic working environment.
- You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with various internal departments.
- You have a solution-oriented mindset and an eye for both the details and the bigger picture.
