Project Manager Buildings

Function

• As a Buildings Project Manager, you coordinate construction, renovation and maintenance projects from preparation through to completion, with attention to quality, budget and planning.
• You translate the needs of internal and external stakeholders into a clear project approach, achievable actions and concrete decisions.
• From technical analysis and tendering to site monitoring: you oversee progress and ensure that each project moves in a controlled manner to the next phase.
• You work together with designers, contractors, engineering firms, suppliers and other partners, and keep communication transparent.
• You address risks, changes and bottlenecks in a timely manner, so that the impact on the execution, costs and use of the buildings remains limited.
• You keep reports, budget tracking, meetings and administrative project documentation meticulously up to date, ensuring that all those involved maintain a clear overview.
• In Mechelen, as a buildings project manager, you contribute directly to safe, functional and future-oriented working environments.

Profile

• You have approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in project management within construction, real estate, infrastructure, technical management or a comparable environment.
• A technical or construction-related qualification, or equivalent experience, helps you to assess plans, quotes, execution details and technical risks with ease.
• Planning and organising come naturally to you: you bring priorities, deadlines, budgets and dependencies together into a workable approach.
• You communicate clearly with various stakeholders and are not afraid to discuss decisions, expectations and necessary adjustments in a professional manner.
• Accuracy, ownership and a solution-oriented attitude are important, as you manage projects independently whilst also creating support amongst others.
