Project Manager Buildings
Function
Due to the growth of the organisation and influx of new projects, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager Construction who will be responsible for the complete follow-up of one large project or several medium-sized construction sites.
In this position, you are the central point of contact for all technical, organisational and financial aspects of the works. You will monitor progress, manage teams and ensure smooth cooperation between all parties involved.
Your responsibilities include:
- Full management of a large yard or a portfolio of smaller projects
- Act as a central link between client, design teams, engineering firms, site management and internal departments
- Preparing, analysing and monitoring implementation planning
- Continuous monitoring of quality, safety and progress on site
- Organising and leading site meetings, including following up on agreements made
- Preparation and follow-up of requisition statements
- Managing the implementation budget and monitoring profitability
- Responsibility for preliminary and final delivery of projects
Profile
For this role, we are looking for an experienced project manager who combines technical knowledge with leadership and organisational acumen.
You ideally possess:
- A degree in construction engineering and at least five years' experience in managing large construction projects
- Familiarity with quality and safety procedures such as ISO and VCA
- Strong coordination skills and stress resistance
- Excellent communication skills and negotiating talent
- A coaching and motivational leadership style
- Good knowledge of Dutch; additional knowledge of French and English is an asset
- A sense of responsibility and pride in quality and timely delivery
