BIM Draughtsman

Function

As a BIM Draughtsman, you will be based in Ham, in the province of Limburg, working on the development, modelling and visualisation of architectural designs within a BIM environment. You will translate design and project information into accurate digital models and drawings, with a focus on quality, feasibility and detail.

In this role, you will be involved in various stages of the design process and will support the project team in drawing up, amending and checking drawings and models. You will work in a structured manner, contribute ideas on optimisations and ensure that the digital information remains consistent and accurate.

• Creating, modifying and managing BIM models and technical drawings.
• Developing plans, details and model information in accordance with project requirements.
• Checking model quality, dimensions and technical consistency.
• Consult with internal colleagues and project stakeholders regarding changes and optimisations.
• Identifying bottlenecks and contributing ideas for practical solutions in the drafting and modelling process.
• To support the further digitalisation and standardisation of drawing and BIM processes.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for an experienced BIM Draughtsman with relevant experience in a technical or architectural draughting environment. You combine strong spatial awareness with accuracy and are comfortable working in a digital design environment. You are able to work independently, but also function well within a team where consultation and coordination are important.

In addition, you have a good knowledge of BIM and experience with SketchUp. Knowledge of Vectorworks is an advantage, but not essential. You are keen to learn, work in a systematic manner and are able to translate technical information into clear and usable models and drawings.

• Experience as a BIM draughtsman, draughtsman or in a similar technical role.
• A strong understanding of BIM processes and digital drawing or modelling environments.
• Experience with SketchUp.
• Knowledge of Vectorworks is an asset.
• Working in a precise, structured and quality-focused manner.
• Good technical understanding and an eye for detail.
• Be able to work and communicate effectively with project staff.
• Willing to work from Ham, Limburg (BE).

Offer

You can expect a competitive salary of between €3,000 and €4,500 gross per month, depending on your experience and expertise. You will also be working in a professional environment where quality, accuracy and teamwork are key.
