Work planner / Purchaser
Function
At our client’s company, a leading name in industrial construction, teamwork and customer service play a major role. As Work Planner/Purchasing Officer you’ll find yourself in a dynamic environment where your technical and organisational skills will be put to full use. Based in the beautiful Bales, you will work closely with the project management team, the draughtsmen’s office and the general work planning/procurement department. Your duties will be varied and challenging:
- Supporting work planning and procurement processes.
- Analysing and optimising specification drawings and construction plans.
- Technical review of working and production drawings.
- Managing and coordinating planning and deadlines, both internally and externally.
With us, you’ll have the opportunity to play an active part in our projects whilst continuing to develop your skills.
Profile
To be successful in this role, you should ideally have the following qualifications and skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of software programmes such as Office, AutoCAD and, preferably, Tekla.
- Excellent technical insight and strong organisational skills.
- Experience in architectural draughting is an advantage.
- A dynamic, flexible and stress-resilient approach to work.
