Professional Clients Adviser
Function
As a Professionals Adviser, you are the point of contact for the self-employed, start-up entrepreneurs, and small companies. You support them with their day-to-day banking matters and actively think along with them about their financial needs, both on a professional and personal level.
Your range of responsibilities is varied and includes, amongst other things:
- You support clients with their day-to-day banking transactions, payment processing, and the management of their accounts.
- You map out the financial situation and future plans of entrepreneurs.
- You identify opportunities and actively explore client needs during conversations.
- You map out financing needs, both for professional investments and for private purposes.
- You develop suitable proposals or bring in specialist colleagues when a file requires specific expertise.
- You follow up with clients and build a sustainable long-term partnership.
Within this role, you are given the necessary freedom to decide which advice you handle independently and for which files you collaborate with a specialist colleague.
You also work according to an agile approach. Together with your colleagues, you determine the monthly priorities and objectives, after which you work as a team to achieve them.
Profile
For this role, we are looking for someone who enjoys taking initiative and feels at home in a commercial, client-focused environment.
- You hold a bachelor's degree in a financial, economic, or related field, or you have relevant experience within the banking sector.
- You have an interest in the world of the self-employed, starters, and entrepreneurs.
- You have a commercial mindset and know how to identify opportunities during conversations.
- You communicate fluently and easily build a relationship of trust with different types of clients.
- You work independently, take responsibility, and like to show initiative.
- You are a true team player and enjoy sharing knowledge with colleagues.
- You gain satisfaction from achieving objectives and motivate others to deliver results together.
Some prior experience within the banking sector or with professional credits is an advantage. Even if you do not yet have all the product knowledge, you will receive a comprehensive training programme to support your further development.
Organisation
You will join an independent bank branch that is part of a larger banking group. The branch has approximately 12 members of staff and focuses on personal service for both private and professional clients.
Within the team, collaboration is central. Colleagues work closely together, share their knowledge and support one another where needed. At the same time, everyone is given sufficient autonomy and responsibility to take ownership of their own tasks.
The branch is also investing in a new working environment in Zwevegem. From late November 2026, the activities of another branch will be brought together at this location. You will therefore join a team that is building towards the future together, without losing sight of the personal approach.
The commercial approach is based on trust and long-term relationships. The branch genuinely wants to get to know its clients and looks beyond the sale of financial products. Their financial well-being comes first.
Offer
You will join a warm working environment where trust, transparency and teamwork are not empty words. In return, you will receive an attractive remuneration package and ample room to continue developing yourself.
What can you expect?
- A full-time position with a 37.5-hour working week. In practice you work 38 hours, which entitles you to 3 additional days off per year.
