Accountant

Function

As an experienced accountant, you will play a key role in the organisation’s financial operations.

• You will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks.
• You will process and check financial data and ensure that the accounts remain accurate and up to date.
• You will assist with the month-end closing procedures and ensure that reports are prepared correctly.
• You will closely monitor financial transactions and ensure the quality of the accounting data.
• You will work alongside various colleagues and internal stakeholders to ensure that financial information is processed accurately.
• You will contribute ideas on possible improvements to financial processes.
• You will take responsibility for your own cases and ensure that deadlines are met.
• You will provide support where necessary with analyses and other financial matters.

Thanks to your experience, you will also act as a point of contact within the finance team and help ensure that the team operates efficiently and professionally.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working independently and taking on responsibility.

• You have a relevant qualification in accountancy, finance or an equivalent background.
• You have several years’ experience in an accounting role.
• You have a good knowledge of general accounting.
• You work with precision and in a structured manner, and you enjoy seeing things through to the end correctly.
• You have an analytical mind and look beyond the figures alone.
• You work independently, but you also consider it important to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• You take the initiative and actively contribute ideas on possible improvements.
• You are a good communicator and know how to convey financial information clearly.
• You thrive in an environment where responsibility and trust are key.
