Accountant

Function

For an established accounting firm in the Aalst region, we are looking for an experienced Accountant. You will take responsibility for your own files and work in an environment where quality and continuity are key.

In this role, you will independently manage a portfolio of clients and work accurately on their files.

Tasks:

• managing and following up files from A to Z
• preparation of VAT returns and tax obligations
• preparing year-end closures and balance sheets
• preparation of interim figures and reports
• advising customers and answering their questions
• brainstorming on optimisations within dossiers

Profile

You have the necessary experience and work independently and in a structured way.

You recognise yourself (largely) in the following:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a financial field
• several years of experience within an accounting or auditing firm
• strong knowledge of accounting and taxation
• works accurately and in a structured way
• independent and responsible in file management
• customer-oriented and communicative
