Accountant

Function

In this role, you take charge of the first part of files and build up substantive knowledge step by step. You ensure that figures are processed correctly and thus lay the foundations for strong dossier follow-up.

You will work in a structured office environment where supervision is provided but where initiative is also valued.

Tasks:

• Entry of purchase, sales and financial documents
• Preparing and filing VAT returns
• Helping follow up customer files in cooperation with experienced case managers
• Checking and structuring accounting documents
• Contacting customers for missing documents or additional info
• Administrative support within the office

Profile

We’re looking for someone just starting out who’s keen to really learn the trade.

You recognise yourself (largely) in the following:

• Training within accounting, accountancy-tax or equivalent
• First experience within an accounting firm is a plus, but not a must
• You work accurately and in a structured way
• You understand the basics of VAT and accounting processing
• You are eager to learn and possibly want to progress towards full-fledged dossier management
• You work independently but interact smoothly with colleagues
• You communicate clearly and professionally
