Accountant

Function

As a senior case manager, you will be responsible for managing cases independently from start to finish. You will mentor junior colleagues and help to optimise internal processes. You will work closely with the director and proactively maintain contact with clients. Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Preparing and submitting VAT returns, Intrastat returns, etc.
• Preparation of interim results and year-end accounts.
• Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns.
• Client meetings in collaboration with the director.
• Optimisation of files and proactive communication with customers

Profile

To be eligible for the role of accountant, you should recognise yourself in the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and Taxation (or equivalent through experience).
• Several years’ experience in an accountancy firm.
• Meticulous, independent and a team player.
• A strong knowledge of taxation.
• Fluent Dutch.
