Accountant A-Z

Function

As Accountant A-Z you are responsible for the full accounting follow-up of the company. You ensure the correct processing of financial data and support the periodic closings and reporting.

Your duties will include:

• You manage the full accounts from A to Z.
• You follow up on purchase orders and purchase invoices and are responsible for processing bank statements.
• You handle various accounting transactions and ensure the correct and timely processing of financial data.
• You support the month-end and year-end close and contribute to reliable financial reporting.
• You are responsible for tax and statutory obligations, including VAT returns, intra-community declarations and customer listings.
• You provide support during audits and handle ad hoc queries relating to financial analyses and reporting.
• You actively contribute ideas on the optimisation and efficiency of existing financial processes.

You report directly to the Financial Manager and will receive a varied range of responsibilities in which independence, accuracy and accountability are central.

Profile

For this role we are looking for an accountant who is confident in their position and enjoys taking ownership of their own files.

• You hold a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy or an equivalent qualification through experience.
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar accounting role, in which you managed the full accounts from A to Z.
• You have a thorough knowledge of general accounting and tax obligations.
• You have strong analytical insight and work accurately and in a structured manner.
• You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of MS Dynamics is a great advantage.
• You work independently, take initiative and feel responsible for the quality of your work.
• You are hands-on and enjoy contributing ideas for improvements.
• You function well within a team and communicate smoothly with various internal stakeholders.
