As a work planner, your duties will include the following:

• You start by dissecting and researching a file - creatively searching for the best material choices, construction wise and optimising the architect's plan.
• You prepare the necessary cross-sections and ground plans (2D), which are discussed internally in advance and submitted to the client. You then start calculating the file based on Excel calculations.
• You request prices from suppliers and subcontractors.
• You prepare an offer for the customer. When your file goes into execution, you take care of work preparation.
• You provide price comparisons and budget controls.
• You order materials and record subcontractors.
• You direct the steel structure drawing office and check incoming plans. In case of changes, you prepare the settlements.
• You will work closely with your colleagues, consultation is possible - together we are strong

Our client is a construction company that specialises in industrial new build and renovation projects. They often build garages, sheds, shop premises, etc. in steel for SMEs and medium-sized companies. in steel for SMEs and medium-sized companies, but they have also undertaken private projects, such as an industrial building with an integrated house.

For some projects, they are responsible for only the structural work and for others they are responsible for the complete finishing, up to painting.

They think with the client about how to optimise projects. Some of their clients do not have an architect and they are also responsible for the design.

Apart from the stability study, they do everything in-house.

They are known for their flexible service. And you can count on them for correct construction administration, construction and optimisation advice, cost price calculation and site coordination.

Due to a rapidly increasing growth in projects, they are looking for a colleague work planner.

For the job of work planner, you will possess:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in structural engineering.
• You are communicative and assertive.
• You like to take initiative.
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office and AutoCad.
• You have notions of stability.
• Your work accurately.
