Representative

As a representative, you will be responsible for supporting and expanding sales activities focused on renewable energy. Below is a sample of your duties: 

• You will be responsible for advising customers on technical options and the benefits of the solutions. You also guide the customer further in the decision-making process. The majority +- 80% of your customers are B2B.
• You are responsible for quotations and calculation. You make technical quotations and calculate the necessary materials and costs for projects.
• You will maintain existing customer relationships and expand your network by actively approaching new customers.
• You further provide technical support to the project team and to your clients.

As a representative, you largely meet the following requirements:

• You have a bachelor's level of thinking and preferably a technical background.
• You have a minimum of several years' experience in a similar role. Preferably in renewable energy or electrical engineering.
• You have a good knowledge of solar panels and/or battery systems and/or solar panels. You also have a good knowledge generally of electrical engineering.
• You have a commercial flair with strong persuasiveness and strong communication skills.
• You speak and write Dutch and English fluently. Knowledge of French is a plus. 
• Your working region will largely be in a radius around 50 km from Wetteren.
• You can prioritise well and are able to work autonomously.

Our client operates within electrical engineering and renewable energy in the Wetteren region. They have been around since 1985 and are well-known in the market for their qualitative approach and solutions as well as their high level of finishing. To sustain their growth in the renewable energy segment, they are currently looking for a representative. In this segment, they are active in the installation of home batteries, solar energy and charging stations for both the B2B and B2C market. Here too, they stand out for their unique and quality solutions. 

As a representative, you will join a stable environment with almost 40 years of experience. Specifically, you will join an enthusiastic team of 14 colleagues in the renewable energy department.
