Offer

You will work in a start-up environment with a clear vision and a lot of growth potential. You will also have the opportunity to help shape the company and can help pull the cart. The aim is to reach a managerial position in a relatively short space of time. Moreover, you will be able to work with managers who have already earned their stripes in the technical field and are already surrounded by a good team of professionals in other areas (accounting, purchasing/contracts, administration, etc.).
Apart from this, you can of course count on a very nice salary package complemented by company car and load card, hospitalisation insurance, group insurance and meal vouchers.
You will work a 40-hour week with 12 ADV days and freely selectable leave. Sliding hours are possible as well as working from home after an introductory period.

Function

As technical manager, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

  • Initially, while you are employed by the company, you will start taking the exam at the FPS Economy so that the licence can be issued.
  • Once this is in place, you will be responsible for everything in terms of technical support for various types of electricity inspections.
  • You guarantee the quality of the inspections made and stay up to date regarding new legislation within electricity so that this can be implemented in the operation. You do this by attending meetings organised by government bodies. Whether or not together with the manager(s).
  • You are also responsible for compiling this knowledge into a manageable package and providing training on this internally to the inspectors.
  • In the beginning, you will also assist and perform inspections yourself.

Organisation

Our client is a young and dynamic start-up active in inspections. There are currently five of them working in the company, with the partners themselves in the field carrying out various inspections ranging from asbestos, EPC, water and heating oil inspections. Since they also want to obtain their licence for electrical inspections, they are currently looking for a technical manager who wants to take on this part of the company as well as put his or her shoulders to the further development of the organisation and structure.

Profile

As a technical manager, you will meet the following requirements:

  • You have a master's degree in industrial sciences. Without this degree, you cannot legally be registered as a technical manager for electrical inspections.
  • You are in possession of a driving licence B.
  • Preferably, you already have initial work experience within the electrical field.
  • You have a hands-on mentality who sees yourself fitting into a start-up environment and wants to help shape the company.
  • You are willing to teach/coach your colleagues and staff over time.
  • You have leadership skills.
  • You have great appetite to delve into the field as well as related legal texts.
  • You already have a good knowledge of AREI or are willing to deepen your knowledge of it.
  • You speak very good Dutch and also have a good knowledge of English.
  • The accompanying administrative work does not scare you away.

Apply for this vacancy.

We will get back to you as soon as possible.
