Function

As team lead and senior consultant in the soil department of this organisation, your responsibilities are:


  • You will coordinate various projects and ensure smooth implementation.
  • You will provide support and guidance to project staff during their executive tasks.
  • You will develop in-depth technical knowledge within specific themes's of your interest, such as innovative research and remediation techniques.
  • You will take responsibility for people management tasks within your team of experts in the soil department.
  • You will act as the point of contact for customers and maintain customer relations.
  • You will monitor the financial and operational progress of the projects.

Profile

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a scientific field such as geology, chemistry, biology or industrial engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of environmental legislation, specifically the applicable Soil Decree. Knowledge of land law, specific ordinances and broader environmental legislation is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in various soil testing and soil remediation techniques.
  • Skilled in supporting and coaching team members.
  • Excellent command of Dutch; knowledge of French and/or English is an added advantage.
