Failure and maintenance engineer

As Failure and maintenance engineer you are indispensable for the continuity of our production processes. You will be involved in:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines and facilities.
• Troubleshooting and optimising machine performance.
• Perform failure analysis and implement improvements.
• Programming and modifying PLC systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve maintenance processes.
• Participate in projects to implement new technologies.

We are looking for a candidate with the following profile:

• (Bachelor's) degree in a technical field, preferably Electricity, Mechanics or similar.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position.
• In-depth knowledge of PLC programming.
• Knowledge of industrial networking protocols such as ASI-bus, Profibus-DP and Profinet.
• Experience with robotics is a plus.
• Good command of the Dutch language and MS Office.
• Willingness to work breakdown shifts on weekends.
• An analytical, inquisitive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Be able to work independently but also be a team player.
