Telephone support engineer

As a Telephone Support Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving machine breakdowns over the phone and providing technical support to our customers. You will play a key role in delivering quick and effective solutions, keeping our customers operational at all times.

Interesting perk: This position can be filled both full-time and part-time as an inside sales representative and part-time outside sales representative in the role of Service Field Engineer.

Job description:

• Advise customers over the phone on possible solutions to faults and analyse technical problems.
• Preparing service work, including reserving required parts.
• Maintain accurate service records and reporting of phone support.
• Record, evaluate and report on service work performed.
• Gather and maintain technical knowledge.
• Occasional performance of service work.

You are:

• someone with excellent problem-solving skills.
• someone with excellent communication skills in Dutch, with good knowledge of English and French.
• Preferably in possession of an A1 in electromechanics or a bachelor's degree in electromechanics.
• someone who already has experience in this metal sector or technical affinity.
• A team player who can also work independently. 
• Agile with MS Office and CRM package.
• punctual and accurate.
• a good listener and a powerful communicator who is customer-focused.
• a person who strives for high efficiency within the service organisation.
