Stability engineer steel construction

Are you a driven Stability Engineer in steel construction ready to take your career to the next level? At our client, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects where you will be responsible for:

• Designing steel structures and foundations for various construction projects.
• Calculating and testing the stability, strength and stiffness of structures.
• Collaborate with project teams for optimal execution of projects.
• Briefing your calculations to the BIM modeller and then checking his/her models and plans
• Preparation of technical specifications and reports.
• Communicating with customers and advising on constructive solutions.
• Conducting checks on the yards

We are looking for an ambitious Stability Engineer Steel Construction with:

• A completed Master's degree in Construction Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in the study of steel structures.
• Good command of relevant calculation software such as Scia.
• Strong analytical skills and an accurate work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch.

The engineering office is a close-knit and driven team of structural engineers and draftsmen. Although they have been designing and drawing structures since 1999, they remain a young team with currently 15 employees. They work on structures on a large scale : residential projects, office buildings, retail, industry, schools and public buildings are part of our daily challenges. Concrete, steel or wood : you name it.
