Solutions engineer

As Solutions Engineer, you are the link between the driven sales team and customers. Your in-depth knowledge of the mechanical industry and intra-logistics solutions is reflected in the technical and commercial support you provide, from working out the initial request to the final layout or concept.

• You provide support to existing and new customers in the Benelux in both technical and commercial areas. You advise customers on complex technical projects in the field of product handling, automation and logistics issues. You will empathise with the customer, try to understand their needs and propose the best solution for them on that basis. This requires empathy, listening to the customer and putting them on their way.
• You come up with the 'winning' concept based on your knowledge, experience, but above all creativity. In addition, you stay up-to-date with new technologies.
• You will prepare quotations and accurately report customer contacts in the advanced ERP/CRM system. You cooperate with Account Managers in following up customer visits, documentation and quotations. You also support and direct the engineering and production team towards targeted technical solutions.

• Technical training in an (electro)mechanical field
• Affinity with the automation industry and willingness to develop into an expert in your field
• Open-minded, willing to think out-of-the-box, creative, keeping up with the latest technology
• Analytical thinking and 3D imagination
• Commercial and curious attitude with the ability to advise and inspire customers
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus
