Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will be a crucial part of the After Sales team and report directly to the After Sales Manager. You will mainly be found on the road or at customers' premises, mainly located in the Brussels-Antwerp axis. You may leave from home, but several times a week you will have to load up some equipment at the company itself.

Responsibilities:

• Resolving technical faults or complaints
• Maintenance, inspection and keeping critical emergency power systems operational
• Carry out depannements, repairs and restorations
• Act as the point of contact for customers on after-sales enquiries

We are looking for a Service Technician with ideally already some experience. What else this company is looking for:

• In-depth knowledge of technical products and systems, with specialisation in mechanics and electronics (through training or relevant experience)
• Language skills: proficiency in Dutch and ability to get by in French (or vice versa; proficiency in French and ability to get by in Dutch)
• Skilled in telephone and email communication
• In possession of a VCA diploma or willing to obtain one

The following items are a huge plus but certainly not a requirement:

• Thorough knowledge of internal combustion engines and electrical engineering
• Demonstrable experience in after-sales services
• You have a C driving licence or are interested in obtaining one
• Willingness to work on-call 24/7
