Service Engineer

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You will be responsible for installing and making test and measurement equipment ready for use at customers' premises.
• You will also be responsible for periodic maintenance, performing calibrations and repairs of this equipment.
• After an intervention, you communicate with the customer and deliver detailed service and measurement reports.
• Besides external interventions, you will also perform calibrations within the in-house lab in Temse.
• You will report to the Technical Director.
• Your base is Temse but you will often be 'in the field' with customers spread across Belgium and the Netherlands. On average, you will spend 1 night a week in the Netherlands.

As a Service Engineer, you will largely meet the following requirements:

• You have completed a technical education (TSO or bachelor's degree).
• Previous work experience in installing, calibrating and/or repairing equipment is to your advantage.
• You preferably live in the wider Waasland region.
• You are someone who enjoys helping customers and goes out independently to do so.
• Accuracy, precision and attention to detail constitute three notable characteristics of yours.
• Cooperation within the team is essential; your strong communication skills contribute to this.
• You are in possession of a driving licence B.
• You can express yourself well in Dutch and English.

Our client is active in sales, installation, calibration and maintenance of lab (measurement) equipment. They have been active in their sector for over 35 years with their customer base consisting mainly of (petro)chemical and life science companies. To expand their team, they are currently looking for a Service engineer operating in Belgium and the Netherlands.

As a Service Engineer, you will join a growing company with expertise and knowledge in their field.
