Service Engineer

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance of steam installations at customers in Belgium and other countries within the EMEA region. You will depart from home in a company car and work within a team of experienced service engineers. Due to the 24-hour service provided by our client, you will regularly work irregular hours, which will be compensated appropriately.

Your duties and responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on steam plants: cleaning of fans, filters and peripherals, replacing diaphragms, bearings, shock absorbers and other electrical and mechanical components, checking safety circuit, chemical cleaning of steam plants.
• Performing curative interventions (depannages) on steam plants.
• Work on electrical, mechanical and burner maintenance.

• Broad technical background and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
• In possession of driving licence B.
• 24/7 mentality and willing to travel abroad.
• A degree in Bachelor of Electromechanics (maintenance engineering) or equivalent experience.
